There are many reasons that anyone may want to become a online beta game tester. My reason was that I was $50,000 in student loan debt and needed to find extra income to help me pay off the debt. My current job only allowed me to make enough money to pay the rent, utilities and the credit card bills. I only had enough left over to by groceries and save maybe a hundred dollars a month.
